RAJEEV KI SHAADI
Rajeev Khandelwal is getting maried. Remember, we'd told you last year that he was in a serious relationship with Manjiri Kamtikar, who works for an ad agency? Now, Manjiri is getting ready to be his blushing bride. The shaadi is in December,and as Rajeev says, "Manjiri and I'll have a ring ceremony in May. I am very happy".
IDOL FIASCO
The Indian Idol auditions at Noida didn't go quit on the lines of what the channelwallahs had planned. Rather than the wanna be idols displaying their talent, lathi-charge talents, and an ambulance had to be called. Things got out of hand, what with over 40,000 applicants turning up. The disgruntled youngsters went on a rampage, forcing even Abhijeet Sawant to go into hiding.
EARTH HOUR
Abhishek Bachchan and Sheila Dikshit launched the Earth Hour 2010 at a press conference in Delhi yesterday. Earth Hour will be held on march 27, this year, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm . " I hope all households will have candle-lit dinners on march 27," said Sheila Dikshit at the event, and Abhishek had this to say. " I think the CM for giving me a great idea about what to do during the Earth Hour. My wife will be very happy. I'll request the industry to shut studios and stop shooting".
